RE: Google G Suite

Dear All,

We are pleased to announce that following a successful Proof of Concept (PoC) phase, Rocco Forte Hotels will move its email and calendar platform from GroupWise to Google Gmail and implement the Google G Suite docs/collaboration platform.

G Suite is simple and intuitive to use and we expect it to provide a much more effective way to manage email, calendars and communications. It will also make sharing and collaborating on documents far more simple and efficient.

The global ‘Go Live’ date for all Rocco Forte Hotels team members* is 3rd December 2018, with training running daily during the last three weeks of November.

Over the coming weeks, all team members will receive full communications detailing the training, support and migration/go-live process.

Email addresses will remain the same and all emails will be copied into Gmail. Access to L & H drives and MS Office will remain unchanged, allowing us to transition to using G Suite for docs/sheets/slides over time, focusing first where it brings immediate benefits.

Please share the news with your teams and ensure that all team members attend the upcoming training sessions, which have been split into three separate ‘bitesize’ topics in order to help fit around the operational needs of the business.
