The Shelf

See your apps list

To see all of your apps, click the launcher icon. A Google Search will appear, click the apps option below the search.

To add more apps to this list, visit the Chrome Web Store.

Pin your favourite apps

Place the apps you use the most on the shelf at the bottom of the screen. Right-click the app and select Pin to shelf. To remove an app from the shelf, right-click the app and select Unpin.

Search with your Chromebook

To search the web, the Chrome Web Store, and your Google contacts, use the search box. After you find a contact, you can either chat with them using Google Hangouts or send them an email.
